Still having issues with Maya 2011/2012...
Im still having the disappearing act going on with my geo... I thought maybe it was a 2011 bug, but it does it just as bad in 2012. Someone suggested making sure that polygon transparency sorting was on, which I looked up how to do online and sounded like it would fix the issue, but no luck. The description of what it does… -

CPU - i7 6700k RAM - 32GB DDR4 3000Mhz GPU - Vega 56 OS - Windows 10 LTSC 2019 I also don't have this issue on 3DS Max 2012 & 2019. It's just with 2013. Edit: Aha! That was the problem. Switched from Nitrous to Direct3D, and voila. Now the XView shows properly. Thanks man. -

Rig referencing 3ds Max xRef 2016+
Has anyone been using the "updated" xRef in 2016-2017 in actual production? Specifically referencing rigs into other files. My my studio has been on 2012 and xRef is basically useable. Yeah, Mud 1.07 was fantastic, but 2009 and 2010 were pretty bad. 2011 is the best so far, and the 2012 beta is promising. There are still some nasty bugs in 2011 tho, even in the subscription advantage pack update. they'll prob anounce 2013 soon but release more like april/may :S 2012 has been the most stable for me of the recent releases. 2010 and 2011 being worse. also post up your pc specs. i know they've changed the interface since 2010 so maybe thats causing a slowdown for you -
