@"Michael Knubben" I'm aware of these hotkeys but changing them won't do it because in some projects I would have one set of assets im working on and other two or more. I don't think there is a workaround for this, even if you could change the ''index'' of the collection you would have to do it per project It's very…
Great work Danny! But also GODDAMMIT I also had a M249 model in the works in Blender hahahahaha Now I have a good model of reference to compare myself against though ;)
Well no matter how broken that gun looks I think its cool that he managed to get convincing imagery out of it!! I mean its a terrible photoslap job with no hope of working in a game ... but it put some light on the kind of quick and dirty FX used for movies - whatever works works! I think its kinda cool ...
Thanks xrg!! Got it working. I bound it to q party because I like it and partly because I couldn't be bothered to work out what else tab was bound to. I never quite worked out the hotkey editor, to find existing keymappings do you usually just export the map and search in there or is there a way to do it inside the ui?
@pior I tried that solution just now and it worked for me. But only really for those files where you can see a preview in the blender file explorer. And it doesn't only register the file extension. There is a .dll for the previews in the application dir. Don't ask me how that works, I'm a Linux coder, no idea how that part…
no, its not snapping to anything even if i create two cubes out of sight of everything. snap simply doesnt work the only snapping option that works is snap to grid, the others do nothing
Is there any way to get Max style keybinds for UV editing? UV map edits don't seem to work as shape keys -- does anyone know if that's the case, and what the work-around is (if any)?
@pior ah yeah that might not work, I only tested it running from the text editor in blender so I'm not surprised the install doesn't work ;) would be pretty easy to fix tho. but it seems you have a solution anyways.
