Heh, yeah I saw that a long time ago. I actually do want to have 2 factions, but its up to the players if they want to be enemies or friends :) btw, heres a newer version with some textures and usability tweaks. It also loads the level instead of generating a new one each time, so your changes will be saved :)…
Just pushed Lazy Save 1.6.2 live on Gumroad  Example of WYSIWYG and Relative Paths being used :D With the Relative Paths being used, it means you guys might never have to manually set a folder again (if you use consistent folder setups, which I know a lot of you do)…
extremely cool mLichy, love some of the details of the app. Been working as well on some clipboard transferring tools (just bitmaps and text strings). At some point your UI gets cluttered, maybe some quick clear shortcut or button to clear the collection, or a way to save a session and export it to useful data for example:…
Yup, it works with a blank render taget, so anything you actually throw at it it will be packed into the channel you chose, including alpha. The baked texture is then saved into the folder of your chosing and you can get rid of the textures you used before. So if you imported lets say 3 8K textures, you can pack them up…
I started mucking around with the openLock system for 3d printing environments for miniatures and got hacked off looking for components so I knocked up a little asset browser that xrefs things into your scene from a dotnet list view. It's not a general asset browsing solution but it's pretty simple and has saved me a lot…
changed some output format for the texture packer tool I have been working on to create HTML CSS sprite sheets: saves bandwidth (one load request instead of many) and speeds up work here at the office for the php guys a lot- as all of them are working often more with CSS as html when it comes to dressing a site or…
a little arcane (and a right pain to workout/code) perhaps but I've managed to get my point emitter to be a "proper" max pipeline object like editable mesh, splines and poly. Doesn't sound much but it saves a lot of faff with each emitter having to handle everything individually can now be moved to a single mod that works…
Finally finished the update for Lazy Save and exporting all layers from selected groups :D https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qsP2R5yEqcI Here's the change log. -Created a fallback in the case that my website goes down and the user still has internet connection The checks now do ->see if online, if online check to see if it…
@ commander_keen - Nice work, now you can recreate the Matrix Lobby Scene. Took a few attempts to knock the chunks out of place, but it may be I was too far away when hurling the cubes. @ renderhjs - That's fantastic - something I've always had a problem with in the UV editor is the lack of a decent snap. I remember when…
I was looking for a better way to rig quadruped legs. I found this link. Too bad that Max doesn't have a Spring IK Solver, so I started to write one. Just use a comma or semicolon. When saving the string check for comma's and if there is one just give a "No commas in the name warning." Personally, I use the built in Max…
