Yeah living in Southern California I see those types of roofs all the time and they aren't that shiny. Even when wet they aren't quite that shiny. A little bit of spec but not on the whole thing.
Damn Renaud, how do you get such sweet renders? looks like vray and a whole lot of polys. how do you manage to import them into max without killing your pc?
Hi there, this is a model i've been working on for a Crysis mod. I'm building the hires model now with traditional modeling and a whole lot of sculpting in Blender. The body is still rough, lots more work to do
_Oz: I'm digging that roof. Looks nice. nkoste: Awesome! I don't really like the white highlights though. The whole thing seems rather dull, color wise. But he's a fun character.
Good call Ruz, in fact you made me look at my refs again and I realised there's a whole host of things I've overlooked. I'll try to sort it all out tomorrow. Cheers!
playing around with zbrush. some of you may remember this model from awhile ago. plan on doing a whole zbrush pass on the body also. give the rest the quality it so rightly deserves. The Other Side
yeah, thats why im gonna mod it haha. if i can find out how, im gonna make a whole (long) quest line revolving around dragons/riders. ultra cliche stuff for the win.
Multivac: Wow, that is looking really nice man, The textures are rich and add a nice feel to the whole cabin. 2 1024 aint bad...If you are using pretty much the same 2 textures on the whole train, then thats even better, Just pretty much depends on the amount of Unique textures the engine has to load for your environment.…
dude dur that rocks! However, it begs the question, how can he move his head? Does he have to move his whole torso just to look to the side? How in the hell would he look up?
