Hey I just wanted to ask a quick question since I've run into a small problem. I've finished my submission and posted it up on the workshop and I've also accepted all the terms and agreements (save for the tax information which I'll get around to doing sometime this week) and my skin is listed as public however you can't…
By "You must register on Steam" do they mean have an Account and submit your work to the workshop? along with owning CS:GO BTW Hello McSkillet :) I'm certain he is going to make a YouTube video about this!
Exciting stuff, hopefully we can see some new talent join the CS:GO workshop community! Was it a copy paste error to use 'PC-KF2 | YourSkinName' for the submission markers? Should it not be 'PC-CS:GO | YourSkinName' ?
This is mostly false in the cs:go workshop though, Valve tends to chose specific skins for specific cases, there have been times where valve saved older (1-2 years old +) skins for future updates.
I disagree, I think whether the person plays the game is irrelevant. Your workshop submissions aren't any better than clegfx's just because you've played the game more than him. For example I started playing CS with CS Source in about 2007, that doesn't mean I am more entitled to have my designs accepted than you. If I…
No If I was telling you to do that I would just say it, honestly I'm not the type to beat around the bush. Getting to the meat of the issue here though... that's great that all of those people feel the need to complain about a broken system and not really do anything about it except.... post a reddit about it. But what's…
Haha, this bug made me posting my long-wip-stories so painful... :) The voting seems kinda of for me too, when compared to my previous workshop uploads, but I blame it on green guns not being community favourites. :)
Hello, guys, I am new to this forum here. After I submit my works to Steam Workshop, how do I show that I am participating a contest in Polycount? And, how many works can be submitted? Thanks.
Just to clarify some things, am I right to assume we are allowed to use 3D renders and in-game screenshots in the Steam workshop submission, it's just in the final submission thread we have to have an image containing 2 workbench angles?
ain't nothin' wrong with a bit of discourse when the workshop is in a pretty sloppy situation currently. Nothin' wrong with people speaking their mind, I agree that maybe a bit less vitriol would do good for the discussion, but this definitely is a conversation that's worth having.
