Living in norway makes me non-eligible for this contest.. A damn shame really, considering the price. I'm still gonna do a piece for it tho, as a portfolio piece.
Norway is one of the most expensive countries in the world to live in. Best of luck to those who got laid off, sure is tough times for the scandinavian game industry.
Tried writing to your representatives yet? Unless Norway has somehow become a dictatorship the government has to answer to the people and actions like this clearly aren't in the interest of the people.
If you ever feel the need to visit sorta remote parts of norway (we have mountains and expencive beer! and snow if you come in the winter..) I have a couch for you.
Move to Norway for a while and then come back ;) Not saying that English people are that kind, but they are good at acting like they care, unlike Norwegians that just dont give a fuck, the way I like it :)
Aye! Winamp, iTunes and VLC baby! Thats how we roll here in Norway. Long time exposure might not be beneficial though.. (just look what happened to per. )
I know I'm probably going to be watching nordic skiing. I actually race and have met a couple the guys on the US team. Although the US team sucks... but still. Yay norway?
You didn't happen to play on any of the Norway servers did you ? ^^ Because a couple of days ago I had a shootout with a guy in a church. :P! Got me a nice ALICE-bag =P

err well for contract work don't you think you'll need to give them also your baking info and all that stuff ?, dunno but it sounds normal to me, maybe it also has to do with the law in Norway about freelance work.
