I think you jumped into texturing a bit soon. He still has that 'blobby' sculpted feel to him. I think you need to work on defining his muscles as mentioned above, but it's more but the same thing needs to be done about smaller details like his boots. They look blobby and undefined. I take it you made all of the details…
I feel like you could give her upper legs some more muscle definition. They look off with how defined her arm muscles are. I also feel the cloth makes it very hard to distuingish at first glance which leg is the one up front. Shading looks really nice, but a bit too stiff here and there (cloth skirt specifically).
Been hovering around that video for a while. Actually I dont think it going to be a movie I think the concept demo for a web series. http://collider.com/mortal-kombat-web-series-michael-jai-white-jeri-ryan/76248/ It could definately be great as a movie but personally I would prefer the series as all the detail and back…
The textures are mostly a bit lacking. they aren't especially well defined. They seem very low res. I'd recommend remaking the main stone crack texture and roof tiles. If this is a portfolio piece, make them high res enough to get good detail and get that good detail in there. If you aren't using normal maps then you will…
This is not currently possible. However, we do want to add scene merging at some point. If you're trying to create a lighting template for new scenes, what you can do is set up a blank scene (no meshes or materials), with your lighting, and go to Edit - Templates -> Set Template Scene. These will use the scene setup you've…
I don't have experience with Toggl, however I think aTimeLogger is a pretty good app for tracking time. It basically lets you do a stopwatch for different tasks and you can define as many tasks as you'd like. Also, it lets you go back and edit time when you forget to start/stop the timer (Something I'm guilty of quite…
@ frell In GW you will be looking at your characters behind and sides the majority of time, (lot's of strafing) unless you are looking at your hero tab, where you will be to equip all of your things. I've played countless hours in the beta and have yet to see ( I should say remember ) any gear with fur on it and certainly…
Here is some reference, I think you can push the saturation and play with your maps/materials to make that lava look hotter. You could define the anatomy more, and then add rock shards sticking out to give more to the silhouette, I liked the asymmetrical horn on the head. Just ideas, keep at it. For a second I thought it…
hi daruma... i see two problems here... first is that mudbox isnt smoothing the uvs by default and the second is that you need more edges to hold the uvs in place... your car looks more like an lowpoly game char than a smoothable one... you shoudl insert more edges to define some harder edges...…
It's great on Xbox so far. HL2 definately shows it's age and brings it's awesome PC collision over to the console. I keep getting hung up on doorways, orange cones, misc crap on the ground. Other than that it's the same great game. The Dev Commentary and Portal are my favs so far. TF2 looks great, but no one is on yet or…
