Ouch! How do people operate like this? I do 4 folders for masks, diffuse, spec , and normal colored for easy of reading when uncolapsed and then use subfolders as well. For speed I have names and colors hotkeyed on my g15.
Thanks! I just forgot I completely neglected the hands after I grabbed those progress shots. I'm moving onto clothing for this fella so I get get retopo-ing and get a nice game-spec mesh.
Cool! I'd like to see a little more color though, he's kinda monochromatic right now. Maybe more color in the spec to break it up? Anyway it looks pretty cool to me. Curious, how did you make the hair?
Still chipping away at the scene. Currently doing an texture atlas for items on the desk. Then I want improve the window, trims and cobwebs. @squarebender looking good! If you choose go with the light hitting the chest, you could alter roughness and spec values in the cavities so the color doesn't blow out as much and to…
The trunk & roots are fine, if the grooves are a bit deep, but the branches just don't feel right. They are blobby and seem undirected. Did you have a particular species in mind? A beech tree looks somewhat similar to what you have: Notice that the branches are mostly smooth, with only the occasional knot or gall. I'm not…
Yea, I figured I might be overshooting what an art lead should do, that's why I was looking for a little clarification, so if what you're saying is right it would definitely be an issue like someone else pointed out in the thread of him being sandwiched between multiple levels of leadership where it's easy for him to look…
That's not dissimilar to what I'm running - mines got a very fancy display and some other expensive crap I never use to make up the rest of the cost - a few manufacturers make similar specs in similar chassis origin might have one
Hello there! So I made this prop for fun/practice and I would love some feedback on it. It is weighing in at 958 polys and the usual diffuse, spec, and normal. I'm also trying to speed up my work speed, so is two days(in free time) a normal amount of time to spend on it? Pics! Wire! Thanks for looking!
Hi i am rendering a scene in Max whit mental ray the lighting off the scene is made whit Mr sun And Mr sky Should i use Standar shader for my Diffuse Normal And spec or go put all that in Arch&design and does anyone got some good tutorial on that shader?
Today, I get to work on mp9, there is only a sketch. The plans to make it a pretty low-key, suitable for a given quality (Mil-Spec), but futuristic. The name comes up from the ideas, the final version will be a small neonBlue or red elements. Ski-fi.. a loose concept, I will consider it from different angles.
