Problem rendering gradient color on multiple objects.
Please, see the image. The end result should be gradient color in this order: red - orange - yellow - cyan - yellow - orange - red. But no matter what I try the result is red - orange - yellow - GREEN - yellow - orange - red, or something far from the desired. I have tried different OSL, gradient maps, etc. with no success… -

The texture does not magically tile in the middle. Tileable textures usually repeat/tile from the extreme left end to the extreme right end of the texture. You have your 2nd UV starting 60% the way through which won't line up with anything. Since it ends at the extreme right, you can select the yellow uv2 and flip it… -

As dev of Hair Tool, I know that making hair with split is pain. The way It is solved in blender geo nodes, was to use loose mesh island for parting of hair (no need to paint texture, or vert group). That's not stretched UVs you're looking at: instead it's the projection catching the floating hair strands from the opposite side of the mesh. Solved .e.g by inserting a base under the highpoly. But shouldn't it be easily solvable by ray distance in one click or a min and max bake range? A setting I don't seem to find… -

You are having a loop inside a loop. If both list of vertices have 50k entries, that means you have to iterate 2,500,000,000 times. And everytime you do a (nested) squareroot operation with list accesses etc. There is no way that you can use another library and it will be fast all of the sudden. You have to rethink your… -
