Hey guys, I need to model a planet for a pc game and its suppose to be simply huge comparing to the environment itself, anything I should know for modelling huge assets?
This probably isnt a "new" technique but whatever. Obviously a hard boiled CG artist would model out the hole in the slide and then bake it down, but considering the topology in that area its waayy more efficient to do it in photoshop, and as you can see the result is not half bad.
Hi, I;m on the wall about how to model Zero's breast plate. The "bulbs" are posing some difficulties. Would you model the whole breastplate as one mesh with "bulbs" or Do i model the breastplate separate and model the bulbs as floaters and attach later?
It is continuously higher to own a thought of what you would like to make and begin operating in 3D. No sketching or coming up with on paper or photoshop. attempt to not explore references on net . you would like to create things up to ascertain wherever it takes you. generally the ultimate result's fully totally different…
Huh, I hadn't noticed that, but it does make Max sense. It'd be a good idea to include a switch away from the Modifier panel at the beginning of export/prep/fix scripts ... Thanks for the tip!
Yeah, Tim Minchin is awesome :) UK people might recognise him a bit recently since he was on Never Mind The Buzzcocks a couple of weeks ago. If you like him then you should also like Bill Bailey (although he's a bit more well-known!).
Hey I just started out in zbrush and was playing around with a sci-fi helmet sculpt concept thing. Was just wondering where to take it from here. if any experts/zbrush users have any suggestions on brushes, workflow etc would appreciate it greatly. Thnaks
I've been working on realistic art for a while now and it helped me land a job. Go me! I've always been interested in the cel shading and painterly style of work. It's something I'd like to work on in my free time and play with, mix it up on my portfolio.
