more like 80k closest thing AI has to a real college is the "dorms". i say "dorms" because they just rent out apartments like 30 miles from the school and make you ride a shortbus back and forth. -

i started with max 2.5 on a 250mhz, it sucked but i think an 800 should be able to run it fine unless you start hitting anything high poly I WUZZ MOJO (haha edited wrong post, sorry Mojo!) -
low-poly monster bust
pseudo low poly I suppose, I was aiming for an in game polycount for a nextgen title which I think I maintained for the percentage of the body that's actually modeled. It has a 1024x1024 diffuse map,it's 80% self illuminated and is composed of 608 triangles. let me know what you think. feedback and critisism is appreciated. -

And even if they had it wouldn't matter, could still be hugely successful on kickstater. I saw something the other day that had 800% funding for a product that was only minisculey different to the 10s of other versions that are already on the market. And that tiny difference makes no difference to how it actually functions. -

This is SUCH an amazing initiative. I really hope more things like this sprout up in the future as it only has the potential to benefit everyone involved. Less greed and more sharing of knowledge is key to a healthy game art future. Not 80k tuition. it's also incredibly generous of Hazardous. -

i'd budget £800 on the machine, and the rest on a good monitor setup. also, there are more than just a couple of performance monitoring sites which claim the Asus p67 series of motherboards (and the i5/i7 sandybridge processors that go with them) actually outperform the new ivybridge stuff. -

Is this a game asset? 80K tris feels awfully heavy, if it is. If it is a high poly bake model for detail transfer to low poly, disregard. The tank itself looks great, but since I am not a tank expert, I will just wait for Dejawolf's critique application and updates :) Gera
