So here he is. 1st I tried to do it with FX shaders but I didn't like the result. So I switched to traditional rendering. Shadows are not be underestimated... Now there is just posing left Cheers
I know a couple of guys who are participating who I'd really want to work with but damn thing happens the same time I'm attending Spark FX as well as a workshop I've got organized.
Check out ShaderFX, too. It's not as in-depth as hand coding your shaders but it's a lot easier for testing stuff out. And then afterwards you can open up the .fx file and see what the code does.
Doom 3 ran amazingly on my old AMD 2600+/Geforce FX 5200 combo and most of the time i could get a solid 40-50fps... ...as long as the res was no higher the 600x480, that is:P
The idea is mixing elements from Mad Max II, Akira and Steamboy movies. The main elements will be dirt and particles (smoke and fx). The characters will be soldier women, like cat woman twins in Dominion Tank Police. I hope something good of this.
Hey guys, I´m pretty new to this community. Usually I do more the 3D and FX side of things. But this one was done after a sleepless night and should do good enough to introduce myself at least with something : ) C&C very welcome, since Illustration is definetly not my main field ; )
Has anyone encountered the problem of dummy objects only being visible while moving the camera or where it's infront of some geometry? If so, is there a fix or is it just a display bug? In case it helps, for a display driver I'm currently using Direct3D 9.0 with a NVIDIA Quadro FX 3000 video card. thanks
