This could be a little strange maybe, but wort h a try. Export the quaded version, let XN triangulate it and then import the SBM into maya again? You could upload a small portion of you mesh and we can try and see if there's problems on our ends to. For example just that one button your showing.
I've watched a few tutorials now, good ones from places like Digital Tutors (for example), and Modo will do bad things to the mesh and the guy has to fix it. For those of you who never have trouble, I am jelly. :) But the problems go away with a button press so no biggie...
Duplicate the triangles in question, move them somewhere to the side of the model and rotate is 90 degrees so you can see the other side of it. (or hit flip normals but i dont know if blender removed that button). One of those pieces has to show up and if not, then something else is really messed up.
I played with one hand on the gamepad (movement and shoulder button for reload), one hand on the mouse (mouselook, fire, jump). It was simple gameplay wise but fun! The art made me want more. It also makes me want to do an unofficial seven day FPS. Hadn't heard of that challenge before.
No sorry thats not it. I can't click at all on the tool box options. No matter what mouse button I use. And normally if I right click in the view port it brings up a selection of UV, Face, Vertex, and so on so I don't need to keep hitting F9 F10 or F11
It could be the keyboard short cut override is off or on? Look in the main button tray at the top for a single keyboard key with a T on it. Try toggling it on or off when you have those object selected. Chances are when you're in Edit Poly mode those keyboard shortcuts are overriding the global Max settings.
Great demo, and the character plays a lot like I'd imagined from the comics. The kill on the helicopter pilot was fucking batshit crazy. Only negative I really had was the sheer number of moves and combos - my technique is largely mashing the X button, so the extra moves are wasted on me :D
Yeah, I think there is definitely room for give and take here... that MESSAGE BOARDS link was TINY! Just make the forums button bigger. Dont take away all the resources, skins and models people have been fueling this place with for the last 8 years. and remember... ITS A CONSTANT COSTUME PARTY
