ay in hindsight kangaroos not so smart :-) Right now he looks weak, old like he would collapse at any moment the concept he comes across as a fairly powerful and proud warrior, If you can nail that idea in the pose and gesture then the deatileing will be easy -

Gloss maps, sometimes, are called Specularity Power, which kinda makes sense, but a CGI artist will always have a basic training in Gloss, as the first term. Which raises an interesting question from what you said, why doesn't the industry homogonize the lingo in mapping? -

Just learn to script. In the long view it's far less tedious and annoying than all the visual scripting methods, gives you more power and makes your skills more marketable. You will also be in a better position to change fields if you ever decide too. -

Yeah, that is a challenge, the difficult part is not putting too much gas whilst cornering. Best to brake, use the momentum to get you around the corner then ease into full power. The Nascar challenges are difficult with a joypad, if they get any harder I'm going to need a wheel for sure. -

cool idea, its shaping up pretty well too. Mowr bits and bobs. If everything is powered by steam you need tons of little hoses, pistons, pipes, holding tanks, valves, bleeder lines, rivets, just more steam punk-ish junk. -

For some it's beautiful, for others it's not. It evokes a different emotion for me. To be honest, that sculpture freaks me out. That's a powerful and personal enough message to me. If I was lost in a forest lit only by moonlight and I found this thing in the middle of nowhere, I would probably piss myself. -
