Nice setups everyone, I'm about to swap my system from it's current home (a midtower) to a full size server tower I just acquired from work. Visually it's going from a silver & black case to a bland tall beige one, but it's more the fact that now I can install my water cooling kit.
The cloth and skin feel very real, I thought this was a ref-pic at first glance. Ur thumb's too short, tho. The bag does lack the worn-out look of the cloth, even from cloth-up. U'll need more color variation for realism and killing that pure silver-white stuff up-close.
There are many ways to do the feet, I find a group based system works better as RP solvers are better like when connecting IK's. But I have only tested the reverse foot lock system once, I'll test it with the whole rig :) . I'll probably make the legs stretchy as well and RC solvers tend to be a lil buggy when there…
Started reworking some old assets into a new idea - a remote building outpost, with a dedicated blacksmith's shop inside. The overall structure is based on a 19th century power plant that provided compressed air to nearby silver mines using a water turbine. To sell the idea a bit better, I'm thinking I may need to populate…
Awesome character, I dig it. At first I couldn't figure out that's a piercing in the side of his mouth. It looks a bit dark in some of the shots, and I want to imagine it as silver. I also can't help but wish his eyes to be a different color, just to contrast with his skin. These are only nit-picks really, these shots…
Still work in progress in Marmoset, I think the wood part is over (at least for now) it's time to move to the silver and gold parts. I try to use all of the advices from great texturing artists out there, that I really respect. I hope it'll lead me to something at least watchable :s Anyway thank you for all the advices on…
Sir knight probably has it right, design by commitee often spells the death of creativity. They cant be racist cause theyre silver, they cant be sexist cause theyre blobs, they cant be politically incorrect cause they arent really people. Still its pretty crap, couldve made the mascots the queens corgi dogs in cartoon form…
The big secret is I was wearing toothy braces, that's why I wasn't smiling.....and as you can guess its the big silver railroad track hardware cutting into your gums and lips kind. Since I'm trying to enter into the 3D Field....probably be best that I don't tell my age....I'll be like Jack Benny till I die.
You want to use an HD IK solver. (History Dependent) Go to the Hierarchy Panel > IK tab and you can define joint restrictions, joint limits, and sliding. HD solvers are a little finicky, especially when you undo. But it should play fine when you hit the play button. In the IK chain you'll want to use a dummy instead of the…
I'm trying to learn about these solvers and helpers so I want to get this working right.i could animate most by hand but without the use of these solvers i cannot get the string bone to move. I followed your example Mark and have set up the limb bones but i ran into a new problem. it does not stay in its path like in yours…
