i heard it is a known bug in 2010, was about to write a script to fix it on my side. but even with a recent patch it was not fixed. -

Hotkey for Viewport + Zoom Extents?
Anyone know a script so I can select a viewport and zoom extents at the same time with a hotkey? ie. Switch to front view and zoom extents = Shift+F.
