I dig the head design so far besides the horns. They look really frail and weak, which isn't very demon-like. I'd beef them up a bit and make them more realistically shaped like a Jacob's Sheep: http://www.jacobsheep.com/gallery/rams.htm
Thanks Ged ;D. It's supposed to take place on mars billions of years ago, so stuff won't be 100% accurate, But i'm still trying to learn about vegetation and make it appear realistic. As i get better with these environments i'll gradually be making ones that are less earthly.
I think hes cool:) looks meaty;) in the way the flesh hangs on him and the way it deforms feels like a realistic gravitational effect. Thumbs ups from here:). I know you said c&c was welcomed but I hope you accept praise too:).
Wow this is difficult to say, I mean all games are different, some focus more on characters than environments... Realistically it should be a 50/50 split but it doesn't always work like that so I don't know what to vote for, I think it's an individual project thing.
That'll be a big punch in the face for China's MMORPG sweatshop industry. It allows a maximum of 9 hours per day and that only with a fairly weird sleeping routine. Of course they'll try ti find a way around and increase their profits but realistically, circumventing Chinese laws is kinda... unhealthy.
he currently feels like an odd mix of realistic and exagerated proportions. His head, and feet are pretty big, but his arms and hands aren't. If you're going for stylized, I'd push the hands bigger. If you're not, I'd shrink the feet some, and maybe try a smaller helmet.
Have some free time so like Skrupps I'm going to get some sculpting practice with the brazier. Thinking that I'll do a stylized and a realistic sculpt of it to get practice on both. For now though I've got the blockout done so I'm ready to sculpt tomorrow. :D
SteamLabs is preparing to begin work on 3 new projects. We have a need for strong props and small environment modelers. All styles but currently strong focus on stylized, Fortnite and realistic ancient temples (think Lara Croft). Need link to Artstation folio. No Dropbox or Google. DONT include images in your reply or…
We are looking to hire someone to create a (as realistic as possible) 3d rendering of a whiskey bottle and its gift box. Please message me here if interested and if you don't mind including a link to your portfolio or some examples of your work. Edit: Thanks for everyone who reached out. We've filled this freelance gig.
generally you need more work, I'd also try attempting a photo-realistic character bust or full model as well to demonstrate your ability. or find some concept art you can ask to use to show you can work on others styles and such.
