In that case the spec power and intensity need to come down significantly. Both the posted ref images have no pure overbright white and none have focused specular spots. Same with whatever is on his head. Is it a ski-mask? It looks like the same material as his jacket.
I managed to download the video for The Sprout and the Bean, it's amazing, cheers Rick. I'll be on the lookout to hear some more of her stuff... from what I've read online she's played with Devendra Banhart and she reminds me a bit of Cat Power. Sounds good
bladezilla is by far the best murdertub i've made so far, he was fast easy to drive and super crazy killing power, he was also able to flip over crushasaurs rex , you can see bladezilla next to rex at the begining of the second hald of the vid
if you do a lot of animations that need to match a transfer pose at a different angle, i strongly recommend Red9 Studio Tools, its Pose Library has tools that help you with that. Its a bit overwhelming in the beginning, but extremely powerful and free! http://red9-consultancy.blogspot.de/
Kind of funny. There was an episode about this on "Myth Busters", on the History Channel. To break the CD though, they had to add extra power to the ROM, and spin the drive at insanely high speeds. I have no idea what would cause the disks to break at normal rotation speeds though
I bet it'd be a good marketing idea to place ads in loadtimes for games. I mean it's almost perfect, because a load time is like the commerical for a game, though as games get faster and systems more powerful then load times will be shorter if there would be any at all.
Revolvers lose LOTS of power and thus range because of the gas spillage - NOT something a good sniper rifle would have. That's a lot of waste gasses spewing right on you that could better serve you helping to push the round downrange. Practicality aside, it looks good!
EU and Australia looking into banning plasma tv's for massive electrical use, in most cases they use more power than a freezer. hot damn. http://www.smarthouse.com.au/TVs_And_Large_Display/Industry/F4B3J3M5 i guess we'll see :) im looking into LCDs right now myself.
The game has problems, some legacy and otherwise, but it's really fun so far. I'm looking forward to playing with some of you, though I'll be using my xbox for chat. Nothing like having a machine run chat that's 3x as powerful as the one playing the game...
yeah I figured that and it does work to some extent. Its also good to remember that theres also the merge object tool so you can place any of your own home made primitives with extra bevel power in the same way as these default prims
