I had a horrible idea that I'll never use about a robot that is solely powered by puns and bad jokes. It would need a lame sidekick I suppose, and as a concept this would be entirely unwatchable because frankly who wants to watch shitty jokes all day. -

thanks Man :D Initially the inspiration was diesel punk and Tor Fricks mech work, but the project has definitely shifted! I have changed my reference to be more like the fallout power armor and that 50s robot design for the clunkyness yet retaining smooth panels. -

This thread is so nerdy :) I like to play any kind of anti-hero. Someone out for their own gains, wields demonic / evil powers (primarily fire) but is ultimately doing so for the greater good. Hated, feared, and misunderstood by most, enemy to the public, savior of the world. -

Hello, there. I haven't tought much of the backstory. It's just a throne room of a wealthy barbarian king in the desert, that is at peak of it's power, so it will be new. And for me, the lighting is one of the main components of this scene, to make it look epic, sort to speak. Tough love is the best love. Cheers. -

WHY must it stay 1280? Also, you may find problems if you size your texture sheet to fit a specific element of the texture, as many engines do NOT like it if a template does not have sides that are powers of two - 256, 512, 1024, 2048, etc. -

ZBrush is quite powerful but by no means necessary to create stunning pieces. But the good news is you don't have to go without a proper sculpting app since there is Sculptris it comes from Pixologic and it's FREE! It's pretty solid and provides almost anything that's needed to get you started. -

Max has powerful mirroring and array tools, coupled with some plugins. As a result, the radio in the first post is pretty easy to do in a few minutes, just model and boolean one corner of the radio shape and then mirror the rest once you are done cleaning the instanced corner. -

And yet I prefer his work to others like Boris Vallejo. Perhaps Frazetta is proof that perfect anatomy isnt the answer. The power of his strokes, composition and narrative have always made for great illustrations. I cant help it, I am a real fan.
