The custom mesh loader is located in the main suite toolbar, where all the suite icons are located! Press the little icon in the top right corner next to the X, then select the "Open 3do custom loader" Let me know if you have any more questions :)
Agreed, careful with the scratches. Form follows function. The shape and location of those just doesn't make sense. Think more specifically about the location of elements like that and you'll be much better off. Lay them out in specific places on the model. Not just in emptier areas.
actually my focal point is the sky/top half :poly122: im not sure thats a good focal point to have in a piece like this. but i love how the blue just looks so alive and gives off that summer vibe and the light just beams down.
I see nothing wrong with recreating/reimagining characters/locations as long as it's nicely and tastefully done. Only advice I have is to pick location/slice that you know you'll be able to finish&polish really well in a reasonable time.
but locators cant constrain to compnents, only to objects. Are you sure its locators and not something else? edit: Now that I have found the script you mentioned I understand. This might work! edit #2: Worked perfectly! -R
It's fair bit of a hassle to sim in Unity and bake out to FBX. You need Recorder and FBX Exporter packages in the project add rigidbody and joint components in unity for Simulation, then record the sim to an animation clip; apply the recorded clip back to the character and then export the character as an FBX animation.…
Minor suggestions/thoughts: Your composition is a bit messy and your focal point(s) are a little off. The primary focal point should be the little market place on the left side with the boxes, this is where you want people to look and where all the interesting detail should be. I'd look at it on a 3x3 grid and adjust the…
First of all, congrats on having a choice. Opportunities are rare and having the ability to decide between them even rarer. There's a lot of great advice already in this thread. As others are saying, take time to evaluate this from all angles. Keep not only salary and benefits in mind, but I find location is arguably more…
@Sectaurs What is your goal? To be self sufficient and not working 24/7 and enjoying my job while being able to traditional art/my own projects on the side. Have you decided whether you want to go 3D or FX or animation? Nope I think that's an important step. Once you've that in mind things will be easier to figure out,…
I mean something like this type of script, the problem is that you have to add a parameter block and attribute holder to keep the information in the scene, which I don't know how to do it. https://forums.cgsociety.org/t/saving-character-poses-on-custom-rigs/880779/5 ------copy pose MyLatestPose = #() --empty container Obj…
