Doing another one while I sort out how I'm going to do the one above. I'm trying to do someone's OC, basically. They gave me artistic freedom, fortunately, but I don't know how this one will go.

Okay so I've picked a new style to tackle and its already proving more difficult than the last so this will be a good challenge :) The short style is still quite controlled but has a bit more freedom than the french plait did Very early days!
Textures fantastic, but yeah soooo much wasted space. I would split this down into maybe two textures instead, which should allow you much more freedom. But the pcking is the only thing thats letting it down right now. Such an amazing model/texture.

Hi . My name is Ehsan Ebrahimzadeh . This is my high poly model for our FPS game called Men Of Freedom : Tangestan . It's not done 100 %. Just some Screen Grabs from 3dsmax . I modeled some parts in Zbrush and most parts in 3dsmax. Any suggestion before I start Low poly ?
One thing to consider: in a portfolio piece you can have the perfect angle and the perfect lighting setup. In a game you often give the player the freedom to look at things from less optimal angles, it's often impossible to ensure perfect angles in games.

The animation. I know there are 2 different forms of 3D animation, so I was trying to go for the one that allows for the most freedom. The Crash Bandicoot example is based on vertex animation which is what I want, but I couldn't find many tutorials for it.
Just backed it, this looks truly amazing. It's like my dream videogame becoming reality, I'm super excited about it. Just thinking about arma freedom + witcher storyline + dark souls combat and I'm sold. Really hope they get funded!
