well for high res...u can go to document increase the height and width values. Click actual 1X button and zoom it according to ur wish and do a bpr render
Hi, my name is Federico and i'm an Italian amateur (and mostly self tought) ZBrush 3D sculptor. It's my first time here and i hope you'll enjoy my works and maybe leave a comment, this way i hope to improve thanks to your critiques. The character is all sclupted in ZBrush and rendered in BPR there, then compositing in…
The plane may be flat, but is it flat on the document (it can be trickier to tell with perspective off, but even the slightest rotation could contribute a gradient across the surface). That's all I can think of, as a quick test with layers on a plane didn't produce this result for me. How does a BPR depth pass turn out?
You can get pretty decent lightsaber-ish glows using BPR filters (there's one specifically for glows), though I haven't used them enough to know how to isolate them to specific parts of a mesh without the use of separate passes and an external program like photoshop to composite them.
They have expressed disappointment in their total sales (5,000 - 7,000 according to steam spy) so I'm pretty sure their goal was to make an appealing game. If they didn't care about making an appealing game, I don't understand why they spent five years on it and wrote so many words about their disappointment.
Set up a Keyshot scene cause I got tired of fiddling with BPR lol Did some more likeness adjustments but it's still not there yet. Especially want it to catch from a distance.
Animations aren't mine of course, but some custom work is being done with the timing to give a good feeling of control for the player. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6XEWr4t-BkY&feature=youtu.be
So there seem to be a lot of places to download matcaps, including the pixologic website, but if I understand correctly mat caps don't play nicely with BPR rendering as most that information is baked into the material. So are there any repositories of standard materials for ZBrush?
Eraserhead, that's a beauty:) The head reminds me a bit of the spy droid in Empire. Did you put any thought into the walking mechanics? The leg segments seem oddly proportioned for that so just curious. Even so, the overall visual design is great and I like the little inward angle you gave to the feet.
Here is another head sculpt, 2hours for the sculpt and about half hour playing with BPR. I would love to hear how I can improve. Thanks polycount BPR_Render by leermac, on Flickr
