Glowing effect zbrush

As I get closer to the look I want for the final rendering of my Character, I have run across one last detail.

I want her wings to appear slightly transparent and I want the glow to extend off of the edges of her wings.

similar to the image of the light saber I found.

I have searched and have found the Colorize Glow material, and have played with the light cap settings, and have even played with the material shader settings, and nothing has given me the radiant glow that I am looking for.

What would be the best method for attaining what I am looking for?

and btw I am sorry for spending my life on this forum. I'm getting close to being done so this is probably my last question. =(

I'm not sure if they broke it, but Glow material should glow when your do Best Render, or atleast that's what I recall:

If it doesn't work, just hide everything 'cept your wings, and put them as an overlay in Photoshop, blur and crank up the levels.

Yeah It just doesn't work. I'm using the "Colorize Glow" Material. But my copy of zbrush doesn't even have the "Glow" material. I literally can't find it. Do you happen to have it?

You can get pretty decent lightsaber-ish glows using BPR filters (there's one specifically for glows), though I haven't used them enough to know how to isolate them to specific parts of a mesh without the use of separate passes and an external program like photoshop to composite them.
