I've seen that car in the carpool late on 520 more than a couple times. I saw a car down in Redmond the other day that looked like it was taken straight from a 50's sci-fi movie. Huge fins, all funky looking with silver spray paint job to boot.
Hey guys. I would have posted this sooner but I've been rather ill :( Anyway, I opened a present from my mother on Christmas morning, only to have this little guy grinning at me! She had it custom engraved in a solid silver signet ring! Beaut isn't it? Thought you guys might enjoy seeing it.
Hey guys! I am getting a weird error when I am trying to apply any material to my mesh. They all look gray/silver in the 3DO previewer but they are the correct color on the actual Albedo map. Here is a pic of what I mean. I just got the suite yesterday so any help at all would be great!
Agreed about being able to instantly distinguish between friends and enemies ! So, if I understand you correctly, you mean that it is important for each design to have at least a little bit of team color on it ? (for instance, adding a little bit of blue to the Agatha designs that only have silver and gold on them at the…
Oh no, I loove packing haha :) I think of it kinda the same way you do. Have you ever played Pokemon Silver on gameboy, that part where you have to put together the unknown puzzle? heheh... that's what it reminds me of xD But it's the unwrapping that's kinda torturous for me D: lol
Exactly. The beauty of these games lies in playing certain battles over and over again while trying to figure out the correct way/ lucky combination that will help you defeat a huge fucking silver dragon. (Yeah, I killed that arrogant twat cause it pissed me off. Had quite the loot on it too.)
Tessellation/displacement is far from a silver bullet. You have various content management and implementation issues, increased texture usage(again, which is really the killer) and all for what can be reasonably accomplished with just using a little more geometry in the first place. Tessellation is good for LODs yeah, but…
Partially hydrogenated oil is not natural sledgy. It will strike you down! :P Unfkedwith oil = pressed oil. Mechanically squeezed. http://www.treelight.com/health/nutrition/PartiallyHydrogenatedOils.html I understand what you mean, if our food wasnt organic in nature, we would all be dead because our faces would be silver…
It's nice :) I think what it's missing at the moment is some mixing of colours, more greens in the golds, some of the gold reflecting in the silver along with the purple from the gems. Some of the geometry shading seems off around the lock area to and there is an overall lack of occlusion. Then gems are painted nice though…
wasn't really planning to use the purple, I was playing with the colours to try and find some more interesting balances, although I might play around with orange and silver maybe add some streaks of white/grey with the fur to add some interest I'd like to finalize the design before drawing out the golem
