Got caught up with lots of other things so I'm getting back to this. Current computer really can't handle sculpting much at this point so I'll probably just sculpt in small wrinkles or details later and Sub-D everything for the most part. Got Skyshop so I'll be give that a test run with this model later.
this is an old work in progress, and since i had some practice in Keyshot i imported the model today to do some renders. hope u like. ;D http://i.imgur.com/Tsd390w.jpg http://i.imgur.com/qfx8GfR.jpg http://i.imgur.com/3vVdjO2.jpg http://i.imgur.com/UJva0IJ.jpg http://i.imgur.com/GzBQKZs.jpg http://i.imgur.com/3wz8Bf5.jpg
@RexM wow man that's impressive! Is that PBR ? if so UE4 or new Cryengine ? stunning ! Here`s my finished pirate girl, more images and detail shots can be seen on the actual tread found here http://www.polycount.com/forum/showpost.php?p=2077720&postcount=36 as I didn't want to make an artdump here :D
et another sci-fi gun,but this time with a bit more modern shape :) Modeling in Maya, and rendering in Marmoset Toolbag 2.For the texturing i've used a quick tilleable metal texture+detail normal map+ auto unwrapping. Some things went wrong but other than that pretty happy with my first highpoly quick texture :D
Terrabite I love the work you guys are doing on Bubble Busters! :D Nice one Afisher! Ace polypainting :) Cool aqua chick Pyapor. Man Ysalex you achieved such good anatomical sculpts without knowing how to draw, that's kickass. I'm sure you'll get the hang of it once your used to the medium since it's all the same…
heya guys =D first post here~ currently working on a conversion from a 2d sketch of a friend to 3d~ original concept (char mashup of sonic and leif (animal crossing))(sorry the resize doesn't seem to be working..?) original post here my 3d thingy in blender so far original post here i appreciate your comments! =)
Its looking really nice! After skating a fair few years as well, it would be nice to see some flat spots on those wheels/ revert skid marks going across them, and maybe some Crooked-grind marks on the trucks (actually a trick and not spazy descriptive language :D). But there only minor things. Good job man!
Shamelessly crossposting my Slice of life challenge entry! :D Still need to fix a lot of issues with tiling and texture's contrast, and eventually finish the modeling too... then detailing and final polish. Hope I'll make it in time. Higher res HERE Higher res HERE Higher res HERE Higher res HERE C&C extremely welcome
Hey Hofsta. Nice going there. Just wanted to tell. She is a stylised character I guess. So that maybe okay but... please check the length of her neck and overall length of her leg section. They look a bit longer that they are supposed to be, or that maybe intentional for character design's sake. Just wanted to tell. But…
@moof, ThinkKlinck, ysalex - Thanks alot =D @CordellC - The method was acually something I saw while poking around in redkit (witcher2). The cool thing is that you can scale the log however you like w/o distortions, as the main texture is tiled. Not really needed in this case, but I wanted to try it out. Hope this image…
