Simply wonderful. I agree with chriszuko, the skin/scales would feel a bit more organic with some more color. Mess around with the specular to make the skin less shiny/waxy. Your sculpt is breathtaking man, im gonna throw this in my inspiration folder :)
When you say you're saving the map in the UDK engine folder, do you mean in InstallationDirectory/Engine? You should keep all your maps and game content in InstallationDirectory/UDKGame/Content. It looks here like the map cannot find the packages associated with it.
I am just curious how someone even gets a leak like this. I can understand concept art but screenshots of files and folders seems so random. And a single screenshot of a PowerPoint slide, even weirder. If this is even real is it possibly a staged/planned leak?
I deleted my prefs folder and avoided using the first script again. If you use this one: layout -e -height XX ShelfLayout; //replace XX with desired height in pixels You shouldn't have any problems adding or reducing height to your shelves.
You just need Z4 when you install Z4.2 and for the first startup, that's it. You can safely delete afterwards...I keep personally mine in a compressed folder with a Registry file, just incase I need a quick setup for 4 without the lengthy installation.
i checked the whole of my C drive into one of our SVN'd project folders one night before i left work. People didn't seem as amused as i was when they came in the next morning and did an update. I cant think why. :D
Most propably you simply were missing one specific MS VC++ library installs. Propably some other installation messed something up. Usually launching the corresponding setups from the 3rdParty install folder on your DVD or extracted setup repair such issues...
I just use good folder naming, and XnView for browsing. XnView has a tagging function, but I never bothered to use it since that would require adding all those tags in the first place. Some image browsers here http://wiki.polycount.com/CategoryTools#Image_Browsing_Software
i used recuva already and have my second harddrife cramped full with the files but the folder structure is gone, still havent changed anything on the formatted hard drive so far edit: damn, skype installed on f, now recovery got tricky :D
hmm i commonly place the textures in my unity project folder, reference those textures in maya or max (so i set up my Materials in max or maya and apply it to the model) and export as fbx w/ materials and in game, the fbx will have the material applied.
