I had to use UE3 editor because back then I didn't have a powerful enough computer. And it wasn't mine. But now i'm flyin with a 8gig 64bit windows 7 beast. So UDK is loaded up and ready to go! -

The Samsung drive is faster. The Caviar Green is quieter, and uses very little power. But it's not as fast. In either case, if you're storing anything important then I urge you to consider mirroring the drive. A terabyte is a lot of data to lose in a drive failure! -

Should I limit my viewport framerate?
Hopefully it's a valid and not too stupid question, but if it goes above the monitor's refresh rate, isn't it just wasting frames/power? By limiting I mean using something like RivaTuner Statistics Server on the program's executable for example. Are there any benefits to this, or could it cause issues etc.? -

Quality work, the black over powers it for me, maybe an off black or something with blue since the wood has an orange tint might look nice, i can see it with a forest background (scene, hunting style) if you can pull that off.
