Hi! I have been working on this character for another person for a while, but I feel I could really use some fresh eyes to give constructive feedback for the composition, adjustments to the pose, colours/shading etc. A short description of the idea behind the picture: a female character looking introverted and brooding in…
Hey there! this would be my first post on this forum, I'm very excited to be apart of this community here on polycount :) Alright so I was given a generous heads up to join this forum by a dear friend Scott Homer who I've just recently completed a Games Art Degree with at the University of Hertfordshire. Taking his advice…
I've seemed to hit a dead end in my work/motivation and would like some critiques to steer me in the right direction, if possible. I've been out of college for over a year now, had about 8 art tests, multiple interviews and some very close opportunities, but nothing ever went through. I've even scheduled an interview only…

Thanx for the feedback. As for textures, I haven't the slightest idea about n e of it except what Poopinmymouth went over in his lecture at AI Washington...he just moved soooo fast !! I did catch some of it. I guess it just comes with practice. The textures and a second environment will be my project this weekend. (Oh yeah…
Your environments look great. May I ask what studios you'll be applying to? A suggestion I'd give you is to remove the low poly section under 'Props and Assets'. Employers want to see completed work, not 'coming soon' work. You also want your portfolio to be professional looking, and removing that will make it look better.…
