Excellent points Pior, last thing I would want to happen would be some elitism developed from a pro/am distinction. Thanks for the thoughts everyone, now.. enough talk, back to work!
Don't thank me until you get it working. Also, for the future, the technical talk forum is more appropriate for these kinds of questions. General Discussion is more a place for tangentially related or off topic conversations.
ohh maan this is so awesome ! i luv it! i always wanted a nice and simple solution inside photoshop for this kind of tasks. thank u very very much for sharing this with the community!! cheers next
Thanks! I'm only drawing concepts for now; even though I have some modeling experience, I'm rather slow. I've talked to Vlad very little, but thats about it as far as modeling
@Kid.in.the.Dark Thanks for the crit! Is this closer to what you were talking about? I feel like the flowerbox and bucket now also have to be toned down a bit to match, but I'll get that in the next pass.
Thanks everyone. This could very well be an issue that should be fixed, but could you elaborate on this a bit more? I'm not quite sure what you are referring to. Are you talking about the pipes on the back wall?
Thanks for the kind words, everyone! A few responses below: adam: Thanks Adam. If you scroll over the images on my portfolio it tells you what I did on the specific scene. I would have loved to show more of a technical breakdown of the scenes, but only to help the community, not help myself. A lot of times showing process…
Thanks for your reply Teddy. I was actually talking about the way photoshop updates. i'd prefer to be able to to pause the updates between photoshop and DDO. I don't have a problem with how 3DO updates. oskar
Hi Simon. Currently I am working on modeling of a city and its work has served me for reference and inspiration. Have any chance of you talk a little about the process of modeling and texturing of the buildings. Thanks!
These clips are bits from this series of ND talks from Gnomon. Check em out here! http://livestream.com/gnomon/naughty-dog Thanks to Andrew (and any others on the panels if you're reading this!) Really inspiring stuff!
