Yes, jth852 is right. If you use the guides you will never get the loops the way you want unfortunately. They only slightly influence the flow, but definitely don't help with avoiding spiral loops. I have tried using the guides extensively with poor results. Glad you guys found this helpful! -
Re: Resize UV Map Texture Box?
Crop that first white image to the extents of the 491.612 mm by 233.937 mm area you want to print. Save that as a png, then drag it onto a Plane primitive in 3ds Max. Scale the plane until it matches the mesh you made from the paths. The plane is now the size you want your uvs to be. -

I'm with HappyTrees (and AlecMoody). The middle ground. The original plan was Unity3D considering it's better set up for people without extensive programming knowledge Obviously UDK drew me in due to it's amazing graphics abilities, but I think when I revisit this I will do it in Unity First I am building up my skills with simple games -

Thanks RTW is moddable, but not extensively. There is no real mod support from Creative Assembly, nor are there any "real" mod tools. Defineatly no source code, either. Hopefully that will change soon. Right now, there are a few maxscripts that people have made, which allow you to import/export the CAS mesh files.
