Thanks for the tutorial! u definitely need to make more in the future. How did you create your skin texture? handpainted or a mix of handpaint and images?
I use it for consistent retopology and texture painting for handpainted assets. Substance Painter I can't get to work for handpainted textures. The masking system is lacking in my opinion, for 3Dcoat.
Shit. That's some truly asskicking stuff. I love handpainted and this is handpainted gone extreme quality. Oh. Do a fancy tutorial and I'll give you money.
its good to see others doing good handpainted work, i know from experience that handpainted stones can be one of the hardest things to paint, keep up the good work!
Here's something I've been working on. Went for a different kind of handpainted style. Kept a bit of realism, but still contain the handpainted look. Hope you guys like it
just finished my handpainted character!! http://polycount.com/discussion/156014/cat-girl-doing-cat-thing-finished-handpainted-character-get-in-here-lol#latest
Hey @slosh So by handpainted I meant hand painted pbr workflow with normal+spec and Hand-painted Diffuse(I'm not sure if it's called handpainted pbr) Hence all the sculpted details.
I'll take the straight up handpainted one if I wanted to err towards a strict illustrated feel. The ZBrush one errs towards a more realistic depiction on the spectrum of handpainted textures.
Hey! Here is my latest handpainted personal character, Crownless Red. Recently tried out a different handpainting style similar to those found in a lot of asian MMOs. Artstation: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/PQ4B1
