Spiffy, really dig the robot. My main crit is with the top pipes just under the light, seems to me there should be a bit more bright blue spec on the tops of 'em where the "fog plane" is.
[ QUOTE ] Not me, I have a computer. [/ QUOTE ] Why the fuck do people always say that? All consoles are modified computers. It's so ignorant and ridiculous to knock on a console because it's specs are similar to a PC.
love the character...the textures are reading like plastic in some places..a nice spec pass...even on the simple textures you have..could make him look really cool...good stuff in anycase
Ok, finally got settled in and started working on this again. Dropped down the pc to 2000 tris and i redid the wood, did a normal and spec too. Here is what i got so far.
actualy what i was wondering was how do the specs compare to other tablets... a4 512 preasure levels 24 micro cels 0.42 pen accuracy Is this bad or good or what!? Cheers Jody
Looking great, but I have to agree with Metabus. The materials are looking very plasticky to me. I can't decide if the spec needs to be broader and more diffuse, or just needs some more roughness/noise.
one last thing to make it shine...id give the fleshy red parts more of a tight spec,,...so little tiny white areas...check out horribledeath.com for what I mean. dave
you couldn't afford anything on your dad's binman wage. You get, like, 20p a year pocket money and you have to use that to buy plasters to cover one side of your specs
Hey guys, when i render w/ maya software my normals and spec show up, however when i use mental ray, only the diffuse shows through. all maps are targas w/ solid alphas. Any suggestions?
requesting all Maya users to post their hardware specs, specially video cards ( you know why... :poly127:) many thanks in advance... edit* i am running: i7 3930k 32gb ram gtx 460 2gb
