ah wait i think i found it in that "manage" menu, i right clicked it and hit "initialize" so now its "online" and all i have to do is set it as primary and create a partition now...i think, anyways, thanks for you help Earthquake
@CybranM Ah! Right! They aren't necessary. I had them initially because I thought it gave a tangible thickness but yeah, it was never going to be seen and it's really just for me. But you're right, I'll remove them because they're not needed. Thanks for pointing it out!
lasso selecting things makes my eyes cry and my hands hurt joe :( I'll take some time to watch all of them, the shield texture is the only one I watched :p very cool initiative, crying put aside, me likes :)
With one asset it might be easier to fix in photoshop... but in reality that same asset might have many revisions which force you to rebake and thus fix again in photoshop, then multiply that by 20 assets... Get the bake right initially and it will save you headache down the line.
An initial something from me, I had an idea for a throne for some kind of huge creature which is also part of a city. I did a rough sketch to try and visualize what it would look like, not too happy with the way it's looking so far though.
I really liked max payne 3, despite I thought I wouldn't (the seemingly radical changes of the character put me off initially) liked GTA 5 too, just wish I had more time and 360 friends to play mp.
Thanks Don, I'll get that cleared up! Initially I wanted to show the faces individually on the UVs to show per face baking for the students, kind of like how you'd show principles of texturing on individual faces using separate UV info. Thanks for the feedback :)
Been getting back to the turtle. Quick material pass - still fiddling to get it more similar to the concept. Crits welcome, but be aware its just an initial material pass - its ugly! :poly122: @Genwu - I ended up going with a soft leather tabi for the feet.
Wow, honoured! I hope you don't mind me sharing this post on facebook, signed up to the forum just to comment I initially built the scene in 3D and painted over it, nice to see someone doing something useful with the concept haha! Awesome work :)
Some initial design ideas. Not really sure if i want to with the realistic style art or with the a more cartoony style like hearthstone. I am liking the idea of having some type of pirate themed marking on her face but it needs more exploration into different designs.
