Maybe simply to be able to offer a lower cost version of the console because the price for the disc version is expected to be a bit of a shocker for Covid-stressed parents shopping around Christmas?
Haha I was spending all my time away from the computer stressing about that beard and wondering how I was going to do it, this is actually really helpful :D
"even after that long process u don't know if the textures applied would be fine or stretched" how so? use a proper checker while unwrapping and you will see stretching, stress, scale differences and with that also pixel density.
It can be brutal. Hard hours, stressful deadlines, cooperate greed, no job security in a lot of the AAA companies. But... I have never seen or heard of an industry filled with such passion. Most people in this industry love what they do and it shows.
The same drama of work for living. I still think that there should be unions for game development, specially in US. Disney and Dreamworks do. Why can't games have? less stress = quality of work = fair payments = same time.
The trick is to cause pain/trauma to yourself, so that your heart rate/BP/voice stress and such are the same, even on control questions. So like, stick a thumbtack in your shoe and step on it before you answer questions. :D
I moved really recently too and i know this can be an hard piece of life. I'll be happy if you integrate it inside the outliner but don't stress yourself. I'm happy to know that you're still thinking of it. And Welcome to sweden !!!
This. This beyond this. One of the best ways to excel is to humble yourself and realize you may be animating the most basic of basic for the longest time. Keep the profession in mind, but don't stress it early on or you'll be too critical on yourself. Best of luck.
The idea of marmoset quality lighting and material in unity really excites me, do you think this'll be too stressful for an ipad? I'm really interested in trying this out at work :)
