Makkon- nice silhouette on top of the roof. reminds me of signs. fightpunch- awesome 20 minutes! Just had about 15-20 minutes myself to doodle today. Tough trying to do a drawing everyday. Great inspiration in here keeps me going. Good or bad as long as its something i suppose. -

Is something like this what you're going for? https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/7/76/Normandy_bunker_command_post.JPG Without variations - maybe 30 minutes to plan each pieces and model. 20-30 minutes of UV. Less than an hour to texture with 3D-Coat/Painter. 15-20 minutes to assemble them in engine. -

I very much remember this :) I thought it was really impressive given that it had a full-on animated character, a smooth 3D engine, and your instantly recognizable texturing style of course. What was the demo/game made with ? 20 years later It's very cool to see that handpainting is finally making a visible comeback… -

Personally any time I have subed to a website like digital tutors or lynda, its just information overload and you end up dabbling in everything, and this leads to an extreme lack of focus. I would say set a goal and objective for what you want to learn, environments, characters etc and then perhaps subscribe for a single… -

Clone tool in the new SD 6 is sooooo weird. I'll have to use 20 nodes to make 20 stamps? And this angled light. How I supposed to do it outside, to capture walls, ground, whatever? Thanks for all the feedback guys. I'll definitely take a look at Rock, Asus and HP. Is there any point going for a 1920 x 1200 resolution on a 17" screen? I would imagine you'd have to have 20-20 vision to get the most from it. Do you think a 1440 x 700 display is good enough? -
