well zbrush has zapplink, zmapper and numerous other scripts. also it seems there is nothing you can do in mudbox that you can't do in zbrush. -

FWIW, I constantly use Blur Studios' ClearMedit script to clean out the Editor. Speeds up redraw a huge amount, especially with animated mats. -

Take the script posted above, and replace "maxFilePath" with ("C:/Documents and Settings/" + sysInfo.username + "/Desktop/") That should save to your desktop instead of the current file folder. -

There are some scripts for it, check http://scriptspot.com. I like the screengrab tool in http://xnview.com, lets you drag a marquee for where you want to grab. -

Especially since stoned and trees can be easily created with max scripts, then 'fine tuned' later if needed. I like the idea, hope it does well.
