Hey everybody, I'm Jack and I'm one of the other environment artists/modelers working on "Our Ghosts of War". This is the first of the fourteen bunkers on Omaha Beach. I'm adding a modified Panzer IV turret to the top of the bunker.
i hate to sound like the telephone tech support guy in india asking "have you checked that the power cable is plugged in" BUT: have you tried: modify > transformation tools > rotate tool (infobox) > reset tool ????
looks good so far, you added in the cut in bit on the inside, I forgot to, added a symmetry modifier whilst turbo was on and then converted it all to and editable poly so its hard to edit it.. oh well :p
Unfortunately you're going to continue to have harsh linear shadow edges when your geom is that low-res. You could try simply adding a TurboSmooth modifier, just for the render, to add some more triangles.
I decided this sucked, so I went back and made a bunch of changes and added more detail. Low poly is done and unwrapped, but I'm modifying it slightly. Here's the new high version(sorry for the large image):

Update on Kobe's body. Just finished early stage of clothing and added a pair of Air Jordan 8 on his feet. Rather than going for fully realistic clothes I modified it a bit to be easier to print later. Stay tuned! www.poligone.art
Hello guys soo i have created a few models but when i render it it have dark cornes, i used meshsmooth modifier with swift loops for the mesh smoothing. is this normal?
