All righty then, managed to finish masking the refs for tracing the object (...to many other projects on the boil, really not enough hrs in a day, dammit! :/ ) before making a start drawing the front & rear view of the Porsche. Just low res ones but not recommended if a 'photorealistic' aesthetic is the intended goal…
Welcome :) Model looks pretty good in my opinion. Nice silhouette. Some polygons could be spared in the smaller parts however. Also, the text/sticker looks pretty big compared to your reference. It makes it look like it is a very small fire extinguisher. And I think you intend to make it look 'rusty', am I right? It looks…
Thanks everyone, I didn't not except such a quick responses with so much constructive feedback. I am humbled. I will definitely trim down the unnecessary info/text. The Collage with images on the front were intended as a preview of the content of my 3D page, but I see now how it could be confusing not being able to click…
@ikblue: Yeah I intend on adding everything in the concept into the scene :) @silver_hoodlum: Updated the floor tiling, looks much better. Will add post processing at the end...when I figure out how to do it that is :D @LuCh!: I actually just tried sing one of the stock CE smoke effects on the cigarette but it just looked…
I think it was a Disney movie, not even a game at all. But I have no idea really. EDIT: While this is more 'correct' in terms of realism then the ones from before, it now looks nothing at all like what I intended at first and I am very unsatisfied with it. Even now its technically not right because the foot part should be…
It looks like you are moving the figure at a high subD. There are tutorials on rigging and I have tried it but never had a really good result. I'm not an expert on rigging models in ZBrush because I am only interested in characters that are meant for games. I hope someone here will chime in, but in the meantime, the only…
Hey Guys This is my first time trying to model something on my own wich is a bigger project. So anny suggestions and help are highly aprieciated. So I hade a lot of trouble with the two squares on the corners so I deleted them and tought I will try them later. Here ist my attempt at the container after blocking out the…
bounchfx: Thanks very much! Hopefully I don't disappoint. :D Torch: Thanks man. I'm not doing anything out of the ordinary with the textures. I transfer/bake and paint them all at double the resolution I intend for them to be. Then I resize, run the smart sharpen filter over them in Photoshop (obviously this needs to be…
yea, as selaznog said, you are loosing some subtle detail in your sculpting phase. I can see when you subdivide your stuff in zbrush things smoothing out too much or shrinking down. Id just be really careful to bring up the size to correct proportions after a sub-d or two and then hit it with dam-standard to chisel around…
Thanks a lot guys ! Thanks again for the crits ! -So what do you guys suggest to improve the leather ? maybe painting some wrinkles between the sews I don't know.I did try to put some overlay texture but it was looking grainy, not that good and more "realistic" than intended... -I was quite satisfied with the stockings,…
