Through anatomy books, sculpting tutorials and sketching tutorials, you kind of start getting the idea of how things would flow in 3d when sculpting. Since my grass is only barely affected by lighting, I've been thinking of painting a soft, colour map that I could overlay on top of the grass and dirt. A lot of the environment assets look like they are stylized a bit, while the rug, globe and map look just photosourced. I would like to see them have the same feeling as the rest of the room/visa versa. Maybe do a paintover of them or tighten everything else up? It's more like a "soft" ban. Since most Chinese have no credit card, even less one that can be used to buy from foreign stores, they're stuck with the local version (sans skeletons'n'zombies). But as long as you have a foreign CC nobody stops you playing EU/US WoW. Latency can be annoying, but it's ok if you don't PvP.… -

It's better to not always use smooth when normal mapping. Reduce extreme gradients in the normal map to make better shading and less texture compression artifacts.
