I'm glad to help! Isn't that an incredibly elegant script with that makeshift fancy Bookmark button auto-click and everything? I should note I've been using it for a couple of weeks without issues, but don't hesitate to let me know if anything breaks.
Pior is right about how some people go "make art button" style ;) NO MORE LODS, NO MORE LOWPOLYS, NO MORE BAKING, NO MORE UVS, NO MORE POLYS, NO MORE TEXTURES, NO MORE ANYTHING!! Just skip straight to drinking some coffee
I may be confused here but can't you just align pivot to maximum? Click on the move pivot button (can't remember the name, on an iPad) press Alt+A to pick the allign tool and just click on the original mess then choose maximum. Does that work?
If each material is using a different map, click the options button and make sure sRGB is enabled for both albedo maps. If you accidentally loaded the albedo into the normal map or gloss slot it may have been flagged as linear space (sRGB off).
Love a good cat and mouse chase :) Play.com weren't selling the limited edition on Thursday so I clicked the notify button and a few hours later, "bing", I was able to pre-order it. Probably the first out of 10 to pre-order :D
man i could never get the hang of sculpting at all and didn't feel comfortable doing it, but i tried sculptris out and wow what a diff was able to cap this before it crashed at around 6 mil polys stupid sub all button.
There's no magic button that optimizes the mesh for you. If you just have a model that has a very high poly count for a video game but not enough to qualify as a high poly sculpt, the best you can do is to weld together verts and delete unnecessary edges.
Cool work! The only thing i can say is, that it seems the text is more important the pictures because you placed it above them :D So the first thing i see after a blick on the big banner-buttons: text. But besides that: cool!
There's 3 on the marmoset viewer, you can look at the textures using the top right button and then clicking on the texture you want to see. http://viewer.marmoset.co/test/gdcgallery.html You don't get to see the texture sheet, but seeing it on the model should be good enough.
I can't tell you how much of a difference setting mouse 3 to a button that my right hand thumb can easily push has made. I know you have lefty problems but it's usually the mouse or the way you sit.
