you see XSI being mentioned alot in this sort of workflow. I remember reading about how they used it in the ghost in the shell film. they used it to copy rigging information from a default character to the loads of crowd characters. I think they used the UV and Animation transfer tools aswell.
Try assigning a hotkey to ConnectOptions. Seem to be two in the show all commands list and it's the first one. It comes by default and is doing this: MacroScript ConnectEdgesOptions category: ~CONNECTEDGESOPTIONS_CATEGORY~ internalCategory:"Ribbon - Modeling" tooltip: ~CONNECTEDGESOPTIONS_TOOLTIP~ ( On IsEnabled Return…
It's a button at the bottom of the screen right next to the words "Add Time Tag". If it's on it will "degrade" objects trying to keep the viewport FPS at a decent level. Materials will simplify, complex objects might turn to bounding box mode while you are moving around in the viewport. I think its on by default.
Wow those look awesome. I like how you included similar colour schemes such as the Emerald, Armor of the Fifth Age, and Bloodstone skins. I think they all look great, but I'd probably vote for the default bluish-teal colours just so it's most recognizable as Taric. :)
Looks like your Environment ambient light setting is being increased for some reason. Hit 8 to bring up the Environment settings dialog and see what colour the ambient is when that happens. It should be black by default. I don't think this has ever happened to me though.
The thing that bothers me about the search function is that it only searches for posts newer than a week old by default. You have to change the "Date Range," which I always forget to do... then I have to wait for three weeks before it'll let me search again .
wow, using strokit thing is HOT :D i deleted all the default stuff though, wouldn't wat to accidently shut down the pc or anything ;) . made my custum stuff for google chrome. too bad you need to know all the shortcuts for the strokit thingie though.
After living with it a few days it has grown on me. I like the colors and the layout. Over all I like it, it works better than before. It would be nice to see some finishing touches/graphics put in place where it looks like they left in the default templete graphics.
This is great, I saw this listed elsewhere but it wasn't explained very clearly. I've never had a lot of trouble with the Wacom default settings, but I did notice and sometimes get frustrated having to push so hard for those heavier marks. I'm trying this out, thanks for posting.
Dom: Thats a screen from the viewport? How'd you get the eyes to glow like that? Self illumination only seems to make shadows not affect the map by default as opposed to actualy making it glow. Is their a particular setting that generates the effect where light actualy emits off the model irt?
