And just to add some random stats to this post I did not play wind waker because I hated the cell shaded art style even though everyone told me it was the best zelda ever. I played the Minnish Cap however and it was awesome, best Zelda I have played, and the art looked great too.
I've considered this a couple times, I think it would look nice, but I'm concerned that it would compromised the abandoned theme. Maybe I should just do it anyways? I could add more color than I already did to the walls around the windows. I'll try to address the contrast issues with the bio-capsule shortly.

Thx for the cheering danpv. Here is a rough lowpoly scene I did today. Just putting some dummies of how the props will be in place. Specs is maximum 15k polys. Now it doesnt look like sci fi nor asia. But I will add more shapes to the houses and put more small details to ground etc.
Did anybody see this yet? Got the DVD not too long ago and I've watched it twice since. Good story with a good pace and lots of action. I really like it and it's much closer to the manga than the first movie. The design and whole look of everything rocks but I wouldn't expect less from mr. Shirow. And I liked the CG a lot.…

Another blockout update. Right now im using photo textures from the refs as placeholder till I get to refinement. Re did the lighting and gave the sky an overcast like in the refs. Most building and prop will be based off trim sheets.
