     Woah! Nice concept, It is always helpfull to have a concept like that. I like the sculpture of the lion, you don't need to make it more detailed. Nice HP also! Keep it up mate!

     Well visually yeah, the lion is a bit dirty and bronze-ish looking. But the same principles apply. You definitely need some colored spec and need to break up the specular highlights themselves.

     Also why are there holes in the plates the plates should be one solid mesh. You could add the rings and the lion on another mesh tho. But don't make them awkwardly float above the rest.

     Welcome to PC. I used the same book to learn Zbrush; just keep working through it and you'll get better. My lion was pretty hideous, being my first sculpt and all.

     Thanks guys. Unless I'm corrected, with all the lions, and birds, and boars, and such in history it seems as if there is room for a nautical theme in this game even if there aren't a lot of historical examples. Hopefully more progress incoming tomorrow.

     Aaaand some fansculpts of the Lion King hyena trio that I did over this weekend! It was a fun project and one I’d been meaning to do for a long time! I'd love to do more like this!
