concept artists: PLEASE use 3D modeling when making your concepts!! i am absolutely sick of dealing with 2d cheating which could easily be prevented by quickly blocking out your main shapes and painting over them.
Yeah, to echo above, lots of concept artists use a basic blockout in 3D to get the perspective and proportions laid out before painting over. It's a fairly common practice.
