3dsmax Skin Mirror Problem (IMAGE)
Hi, I'm rigging a character and trying to mirror the skinning from the left bones to the right bones. It's not working for the legs. What it ends up doing is binding the right vertices to the Left leg. If you look in the image, you'll see that the legs'envelopes are in red. -
What is your feeling on texture image websites?
Do you use them? If so, which ones? Have you purchased a Mayang CD or joined CGTextures? If not, where do you get your textures and reference images from? -
Edit Image in CS4 from Bodypaint
So- been using Bodypaint for a long while and never had an issue with this. But, all of the sudden, when I go to edit image, if it's a .tif (preferred), nothing happens. doesn't go, no error. thoughts? import/export reinstall? big pain in the rear end. -

image editing with dedicated alpha channel
is there another low cost / free imaging tool that supports a dedicated alpha channel like photoshop does? most apps I know premultiply alpha so you dont see colors anymore for alpha = 0 areas, but I want a separate channel. -
