figured it out loose explanation create an array of transforms and use that as your starting point for spawning child actors create an interface to a build function and implement it on the child actor - you need to expose a transform variable and apply it in this function in the parent actor set the child actor's transform…
have you tried just using the transform typin tool? if you select the two verts, select scale and go to tools > transform typin, putting in zero should instantly scale them together EDIT; ah just noticed u mentioned transform type in. still its not too bad to just use that is it?
It's actually completely *predictable*. If you have a tool selected other than a transformation tool, just click back to a transformation tool to be able to right click select UV's again.
Looks like the two bars in the front, that remain separated, could each be held and then pulled apart to deploy/transform it, otherwise i see no manner to hold it comfortably whilst transforming.
I like this idea. Also maybe a reset button on the movement, and rotation transform; so we don't have to type "0.0" in each box, for each object to reset the transformation.
The mirror modifier or pretty much any other method of mirroring works in local space. It seems like your object's transform is rotated. You have to it CTRL+A and apply the transform.
