Quite impressive! Howd you go about adding the pinched leather areas? I assume sculpting but to what extent. I have a tent that has a similar stretched canvas look but I'm not sure what the process is.
Moose: What version of 3DCoat are you using? I've worked with it's painting features pretty extensively for a few years and I've found it more stable then my dabblings in Zbrush. I was using v3.x and later v4.
Latest update. The extension allowed me to push this back a bit, but now it's time to get ready to finish up! Things are getting close now, there are some things that need some major attention and the rest is just polish.
Ooh, this is where my extensive internet trawling comes in handy. That machine is the Large Hydron Collider :) Its specifically this image here which has the following caption Source: http://www.boston.com/bigpicture/2009/11/large_hadron_collider_ready_to.html
Max extensively. XSI for anything complicated. Mostly related to GLSL shadering and some other cool stuff. Been trying to learn more about using XSI seeing that some game companies are beginning to use it more.
If you embed your images, it makes things a lot easier for people to solve your problem. Just right-click an image and copy the full url, including the extension (.png or .jpg) then use the Attach Image button.
Lordscottish: That makes sense, to an extent. Your theory assumes that some kind of blade slashed across his face in one swift motion. Who's to say he wasn't ritualistically cut by a torturous gang of evil-doers?
The deadline extension spurred me to push forward with a second idea I had bouncing around, and I know I'm cutting it close here. Map description/fluff: "It's not safe for children to play atop an active orbital ion cannon. Consenting Tournament participants, however..." Current WIP:
Hey there When you're in Unwrap UVW and under face subobject is it possible to frame/zoom your view on your selection? I don't get why hitting "Z" (Zoom extents selected) works on everything else but not in the unwrap uvw modifier.
texture deformer is at least available since 2015 extension but idisplace will work with earlier versions if you need it. file send via pm seems not possible but attach it here will give you a better chance of someone helping you.
