little thing I've noticed: what purpose do those black borders on your uv shells serve? seems like you're setting yourself up for some nasty bleeding on mipmaps ;)
this is soooooooo wrong :D in a god way that is . I bet a lot of art-teachers are gonna be pissed if this goes big. but I simply love the way you have blended this sculpting technique for sketching.
Isn't the technical section the 'general 3d art discussion' area, it just bleeds over to here as well? GD really is the off-topic of the forum since P&P is the real main section.
Au contraire, mon frere! Ted's Montana Grill is all about the bison - you can get buffalo burgers, steaks and even meatloaf there! God bless America :D http://www.tedsmontanagrill.com/
Could be that your uvs are packed to tight, causing bleeds from the normals. I'm having some trouble with modularity on this piece, how does one go about making circular modular pieces?
Maybe tree make rocks more glossy ? They will look more wet this way. Anyway I didn't noticed rocks do not blend with water until sipher said so. But still like it.
it looks kinda like wood blends with rings instead of going under them. wood also seems to have a lower contrast than rest of texture. other than that it looks very good.
True Toomas. Some of the character work and lip/facial animation wasn't all that good but it didn't really bother me because everything blended very good into the art style of the whole movie.
Dunno, the style doesn't seem to fit together. Maybe it'll blend better when it's completely textured but stuff like the "gloves" attached to these thin arms doesn't look like it'd work.
I looved it when there was no violet in it ! Now i miss those gold coin, they blended too much in the process :'( It's just my 2 cents but i loved the december version a lot more
