Hi yall. To celebrate 3December I have conspired with Autodesk to release two modelling tutes over at The-Area. I basically run through how to customise your interface a little and some strip modelling stuff for making a basic monster. http://download.autodesk.com/3dportal/events/3dec/videos/f_modeling_p1.html (You will…
http://area.autodesk.com/learning/tutorials/details/4886/ Most of you might remember the amazingly nice piece MoP linked a few months ago, well the artist Marek Denko, posted a "making of" tutorial and it was a great read so I thought I would share. Hi there Stan, love your show! Yes you very much can! You can move the license as many times as you want, you only need to remember to deactivate it first by logging in to your account on the Quixel website. So you can absolutely move it to your new machine!
Agreeing with Pixel, I would add, breaking up the lighting of the torches might help as well. Light them sporadically to give more visual interest and leave some off completely. Maybe make a broken version, or some logs around the trees for some horizontal balance to the scene. It's looking nice!
Not sure if this is an actual "bug" but I can repro this, can you log it here Are you using a proper project setup or something saved a different alienated location. If this happens again can you save the file, and upload to the bug forum? Got to agree with Bellsey here I havent seen this in a while
These errors do not relate to your projects but to the export presets in the shelf that may have gotten corrupted somehow, try deleting the export presets folder in your Documents/.../Substance Painter 2/shelf/allegorithmic folder and restart Painter. Is there any other message in the log when you load your project?
I use Gimme Bar and just started using pearltrees. Both keep it clean and organized and very visual to see what sites you saved. I highly recommend either one. Your favorites are portable logging in your free account on any computer. https://gimmebar.com/ http://www.pearltrees.com
Ive decided to turn this to a daily progress log over this scene in order to track down all of my work on a day to day basis if I can. Today Ive decided to do a little work to start creating the modular pieces, didnt have much time due to lunar new year
