Yes, I'm writing code that automatically creates hills, trees, rocks, etc for the user. What I want is for the user to create a line on the plane that has been created and for them to press a button which will create a road along that line.
I think the bar is just going to be raised. You'll still need talented and experienced people to use the software if you want the best possible results. Though you'll probably still get decent results by pressing a few buttons.
You can do it either through the source list in the projection modifier, there should be a button to "add" or "select". Or, you can do it through the RTT interface when you go to "pick" your highpoly, simply select multiple objects.
It was changed as part of the new NoiseMaker Plugin to allow for offsetting, using UVs, alpha-based noise, etc. It's going to be updated Jan 23rd with Z4R2b. There are buttons along the corners of the preview window to allow you to zoom in in order to see the details
You can invert the green Channel in Mari. In the newer Versions there is a button next to the normal map input of the shader. In older versions you can put a invert layer in the normal map channel and invert only the green color channel.
I got it to work! Not sure what the problem was, but I did what you said, and I also think I was clicking the wrong button to return to the parent menu, and it changed things around somehow when I did that. Thanks!
Legit! I want one. Had no idea about the profitability issues. I bought quite a bit from the store hoping money was going to polycount :( You guys should totally bring the beanie and buttons back. (Scarf too!) ;)
Put the editor script inside a folder called Editor somewhere in your assets folder, call it ScreenshotEditor.js. Put the second bit of code into a file called Screenshot.js and apply it as a component to something. You should see it appear with buttons and fields.
As far as the Mudbox process goes, it sounds like you want to model a particular likeness. I can't give you the Mudbox button-ology, but I would suggest reading Darren Pattenden's tutorial: http://www.daz-art.com/hi_poly_tut.htm
Pretty sure we can all agree that this is definitely one of the most epic art dumps on Polycount to date in both size and quality. Amazing work guys. wish there was an "add entire library of images in thread to inspiration folder" button.
